Lunda Community Center
The community of Black River Falls needed a new community space that would provide organizations adequate meeting space, new gym space for the school district, and would provide new and affordable amenities for the community. The Community Center houses the School District Field House, Senior Center and the Boys and Girls Club, benefiting all aspects of the community. The facility has a basketball, racquetball, volleyball and gym available for the school district and a community pool area, fitness center, and meeting/activities area.
Objective and Results
Many organizations of Black River Falls were operating in outdated or too small spaces. The Boys & Girls Club of Jackson County needed a new facility, the senior population was seeking a place to gather, and the school district was in need of more gym space. Through a survey, the area residents indicated they supported a new community center to fit these needs. The Lunda Charitable fund felt this was be a great addition to the community, and helped fund the project.

Public Bid Process
Because this project was mostly funded by a local charitable fund, the cost associated with the project was of course a huge concern. Another concern was getting the facility up and running quickly for the people of the community. The pairings of fiscal responsibility, high quality, and efficiency was extremely important for the managers of this project.
Installation of Various Systems
This project was extremely complex due to the variety of systems that needed to be installed. B&B Electric had different teams working in conjunction with other tradesman to install the card access system, security system including cameras, fire system, audio system, LED lighting system, integration for pool pumps, and an elaborate energy management system.
